The Grand Canal is not the only canal in Venice. Many smaller canals branch off, feeding a maze like network of canals throughout Venice. If you wander around on foot, you will cross over many small canals, or you will be on a path that dead ends at a canal. Here are a few pictures of those smaller, but no less picturesque canals.
